The needs of textiles have been of utmost importance traditionally in domestic and industrial usage. For sure with enhanced usage comes its quality and durability over a longer period of time. To assess the characteristic qualities of these products (raw & finished) the need of testing body/lab was realized worldwide and same is the case at Quality Control Centre (QCC), PSQCA Lahore in our region. We as being the state owned lab has a full pledge multi-dimensional textile section capable of testing woven/non-woven (stitched/un-stitched) yarns and fabrics.

Under the mandatory certification scheme of PSQCA, we have the necessary testing equipment and expertise to counter for all our current and future requirements. Apart from our strict mandate QCC is also involved as third party independent lab for private testing samples as well, it not only sets high benchmark standards for all other private labs but a key source of generating handsome funds as well.

Our future plans are to rectify the identified grey areas and make able this lab to compete as per International standards. In this regard, QCC have plans to ensure Accreditation of key parameters from this section shortly.

Pakistan is one of the major exporters of both textile and garments across the world and there is a huge potential of mass scale testing and ultimately revenues for our organization. Textile section QCC is already registered as renowned lab in Govt. / Semi-Govt. departments e.g., Food & Agriculture along with major stakeholders/vendors of textile goods to law enforcing agencies (Police, CTD & Motorway Police). Registration in CPEC projects and Pakistan Railway is also underway to explore the full potential of our lab.
