Graduate Student Internship Program/ Training at QCC Lahore

Keeping in view the high number of graduates passing out from various universities and the lesser job availability and exposure, many Pakistani graduates are facing challenges to find experience and employment opportunities in Pakistan and abroad. Notable multinational organizations require experience before recruiting individuals. Director QCC, Engr Khurram Mateen with his team at Lahore started this initiative to address the challenges that both the students face as well as QCC faces due to shortage of manpower and overburdened testing staff, by hiring interns.

Interns are taught about food and non food item testing,  in various labs such as Electrical, Building material, Mechanical Testing, Chemical and Microbiology Laboratory. Interns are also taken to tours in the food / non-food industry to give them exposure of how manufacturing is carried out and processes are monitored as well as production standards and hygiene is being maintained, where they gain firsthand information regarding functioning of the industry.

Such kind of trips also help in providing effective networking and create employment opportunities for the students.
