Natural/Synthetic Rubbers & Polymers have always been a keen interest for mankind. These were the first material to replace most of the traditional and expensive metals from around us. Today these synthetic materials have taken over the society because of their versatile characteristics like cost effective, aesthetics, environment friendly, non-corrosive nature and extended service life without any repair/maintenance.

All of these stand outs clearly needs attention in quality assessment point of view as well. Hence a state of the art Polymer lab was the need of hour and QCC did no different, it has established this section about 2 decades earlier contributing to major national cause of providing accurate and cost effective testing in almost all countrywide projects. 

Under the mandatory certification scheme of PSQCA, this lab has the capability to test Rubbers, Plastics & Composite materials. Accreditation status of key parameters from this section will also be achieved in the near future.

Polymer section QCC has registration in Govt. / Semi-Govt. departments e.g., NESPAK, Pakistan Railway, WASA & Public Health Egg. Department.
